While I encourage people to share my dance videos which I create and certainly appreciate my routines to be danced out in public forums and within other classes; all of my original choreographed routines and dances are protected by copyright laws in Canada and the United States. Anyone distributing recorded material displaying one of my original routines without my formal written consent or knowledge and thus failing to credit me as the choreographer of the dance or routine is subject to and in violation of copyright infringement laws of my protected intellectual properties. All of my original routines and dances are the property and registered trademarks of Joan Minnery and Joan Minnery Enterprises. Simply put -- if you're going to promote videos of you and your friends dancing to one of my routines on social media, or performing my dances in a public forum, please give me the credit and common courtesy for being the choreographer of that dance, in the written description of the video and before performing that routine. Respect goes a long way...
